One of my "Bucket List" goals has been to see the Passion Play in Oberamagau, Germany. The Passion Play is the last week of Christ's life and runs about 5 1/2 hours with a 3 hour intermission. I am so glad I saw it but most likely once is enough. So that was the point of our summer trip this year. We had a great time traveling through the Alps and hiking around the Eiger, Jungfrau, and viewing the Matterhorn from our hotel room. We were so lucky that we saw the Alps on clear days. We also saw much of Germany, Switzerland, and a little bit of Italy and Austria. The weather was great and for the most part the people on the tour were extremely kind. I am ready to stay home for a while but am sure that I will get itchy feet and want to go again soon.
