John and I spent Thanksgiving with David, Lindsay, Lincoln, and Kate. We had a fabulous time. The kids were so excited to see us even though Kate would call me Grandpa. We opened Christmas presents, so we could see the kids play with them. Lindsay prepared a delicious Thanksgiving dinner in her lovely dining room. That night Lindsay and I decided to be like the rest of the crazy consumers and tried to go to Toys R Us at midnight. Poor choice!!!!
When we discovered the line went around the entire shopping center we returned home, slept a few hours and headed for Walmart, Target, and points beyond early in the morning. It was a fabulous long weekend as you can see from the slide show on the right.
